In 2010, Eric Rohmann, an internationally acclaimed author and illustrator of children's book as well as a winner of the Caldecott Medal, visited Nami Island in Korea to attend the 5th Nami Island International Children's Book Festival (NAMBOOK-010).

During the festival, Eric ran a drawing workshop about how simply a story came out of a drawing and how to tell a story. Alongside, he was invited to Heart to Heart, a Korean TV programme and talked about his wonderful books 'My Friend Rabbit', 'Time flies' and 'Bone Dog'. Also, he inspired the viewer by telling us his own inspiration. Eric Rohmann is indeed a pleasant, delightful and passionate artist for children's literature. For Nami Island, it was an honour to have him during NAMBOOK Festival.
